Anniversary weekend away

My husband and I visited for an anniversary celebration. The accommodation was perfect for us and a great location on the harbour. The owner was very helpful with regards to parking and letting us know the room was ready for an early check in. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great Property in a good location for Poole Quay

A great location and an lovely property. Extremely clean and well kept. Jenny the host couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed staying at the Anchorage very much. An all round excellent choice.

Central location. Room was lovely. Modern fixtures and fittings. Comfortable bed. TV reception wasn't great but probably not the hosts fault.

A clean and comfortable place to stay right in the tourist area with the harrbour right there. So beautiful! And overall quite quiet even with a pub near by.

This property was in an excellent location check In was good and we had no problems with that at all it was all very plain sailing car parking was a bit expensive as we stayed for 2 nights and it cost £26.00 we had booked a double room which was ok but a bit small and not a lot of privacy if the blinds are up no soap dish in shower and no full length mirror also telly had a bad signal all In all a good stay but would definatly opt for a bigger room next time

Great stay! Host called with extra info and was super helpful and lovely. Spotless room - bigger than expected. We’ll appointed and felt very safe for a single traveler. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

Excellent position for the quay and Poole centre. The room was very well decorated with all the facilities in great condition , spotlessly clean and comfortable. We visit Poole area regularly and will be staying at the Anchorage again. Thank you Jenny for a lovely stay.

Lovely room, convenient location.

We had a lovely stay, and Jenny was very helpful and engaged when we got there, ensuring we knew about local parking options, etc. The room was lovely and comfortable, and very convenient to the Quay, shops and restaurants. We were going to Brownsea Island, and it was only a 5 minute walk to the ferry (and back).

Great location, felt very welcome!

Great communications considering it was an on the day booking. Jenny went above and beyond to ensure we was accommodated as a family. We travelled with a portable cot, kettle in room and small fridge. Spacey, clean, tidy and cool. The street could be nosy if you have the front windows open but once closed it's quiet. Would stay again and already recommend a family member to stay! Also great location!

Perfect for Poole Quay

Perfect location right near the quay but still quiet at night, even with the pub next door- couldn't hear a thing even though they had live music. Great bathroom lighting for doing your makeup - something many places don't have. (It's often like doing your makeup in a coal mine!) plug sockets at both sides of the bed `(three pin and USB!) Bed very comfortable and a fan for if you're too hot. Decent sized mini fridge as well. Host Jenny was very helpful, and there is a dossier in the room with dozens of places to eat and visit. Highly recommend!

Clean and comfort room but noisy at night

The room is clean, comfort and well decorated. I was impressed by the introduction the owner made for tourist to understand the town Poole and nearby restaurants & places; however, it is very noisy at night until midnight at weekend because the property is next to a pub.

Great Place To Stay In Poole

The Anchorage is a great place to stay. It's a few steps away from the quayside and is well served by restaurants and pubs. Our room, Rm4, was extremely clean and well equipped with a fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, soft towels and quality bed linen. We will definitely rebook if we come to Poole again.
