The local was very easy to access from Hwy 67 during our 3 night stay.
The staff needs lessons in customer service! Each day I visited the front desk to request housekeeping to make the beds and provide fresh towels. Two different staffers gave me ridiculous answers each morning!
1st guy told me on Friday morning that they “only provide housecleaning services after a 24 hour period.”. I provided my room number and explained that we were not checking out until Sunday. He said he would leave a note. When we returned from breakfast, we caught up with the housekeeper and she said she only partially made the beds; she was polite; we told her that was fine; we asked for additional towels because the bath towels were quite small. She said “we have some large ones but they are hard to find”…???
On Saturday morning, a different clark seem annoyed that I stopped at the desk (no one was there). I asked if he could ask housekeeping to make up the bed and clean our room and leave fresh towels. He just stared at me and said “quite honestly, I haven’t spoken to anyone in housekeeping since COVID hit”. Are you kidding me?!
I explained to him that i stop at the desk the previous morning and made the same request and the housekeeper left towels and made the bed up.
Saturday evening, we found the bed was poorly made, only 2 towels; no wash cloths. The trash was not emptied, the room was not cleaned.
Great water pressure & hot water was instant. Will NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again!
