“We stayed here for a hockey tournament. When the staff discovered we had a really early game, they offered to open breakfast early for us. So nice. Nice affordable hotel with friendl and accommodating staff. ”

“This was a nice hotel at one time. Not long ago. We stayed on a Friday night and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. It’s my belief that this hotel needs an upgrade, but simply can’t afford it. It’s such a great location in Port Huron, close to all the wonderful amenities, this town offers, but… the room was dated, the bath mat was stained, the carpet was stained, and the staff was kind but definitely new and inexperienced with dealing with a public. There was a very heavy, musty smell...

“The property is relatively new and in great shape. Rooms are as advertised. The breakfast is good with a variety of options, cold cereals, oatmeal, bagels/toast/yogurt plus a hot breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausages & add ons, coffee/juice, etc. Ample breakfast seating and it’s clean. For long term guests, there’s a grill, picnic table and gas fire pit with chairs outside. From a ‘hotel expectations’ standpoint, this is top notch. What puts this hotel over the edge is the staff. ...

“Everything was fantastic as was every staff member I met while there. One thing for someone to be aware of is that the establishment is on the corner of the main 2 streets in Lexington. So if you are bothered by traffic noise, I would suggest asking for a room not on the street if possible. It was not bad during my stay, but I was there during the off season. My room was directly above where the cars stop at the intersection. A lot of traffic in peak season could be an issue for some...
