Room was clean and staff was nice. We had a room with 2 doubles, and discovered that all double rooms have no view and are near a very busy and loud street. All of the balconies also have a very bright light that does not turn off which made it hard to sleep. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and it was nice to walk around the lake. Would only stay again in a lake view room.

Honest review — The front desk staff was friendly. My room was clean. The location was excellent, close to town and the freeway. The third level is the best; however, on the second and first levels, you can hear all the footsteps from guests above, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I might have just had a noisy guest above me. It’s not worth the $257 a night, but it’s still a charming older hotel. I loved the beautiful lake view and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor balcony overlooking the lake. Overall, I’d give it three stars, but I am leaning toward four because of the location and nearby activities. Parking is easy to find. I visited from Seattle while helping family in the area. It was nice to return to Tualatin, where I went to high school 15 years ago. I paid for five nights elsewhere near Fred Meyer and am having better luck there.
