"It was a good hotel. Nice location. The 15.00 allotment did not buy much, so it went unredeemed most of the time. Better breakfast doors away. Better signage for the elevators, since they are not continuous. Kept making the same mistake, going to the garage or the room to the garage. The valet service was wonderful. The biggest problem was not that there was no room service; everyday, it was the call-down service to get toilet paper to the room took forever, along with every other item asked for. And had to ask for them multiple times"

"Basically, most everything was great. The location was great; the hotel itself is beautiful. All the staff that we interacted with were very professional and very helpful whenever asked a question. There were only two things that were problems. The first was the Wi-Fi did not work in the room we were assigned. After contacting the desk a tech rep came to our room. He told us the system was not working in that part of the hotel. I went to the front desk and conversed with the clerk and requested we be moved to another room. He was very quick to find another room for us and told me to call the desk as soon as we were ready to move and someone would be sent up to assist. I did as asked and a worker arrived and assisted with the move to the other room. The only other thing that was difficult was the bathroom in the second room. It was very tiny. There was barely enough room to move about when using the toilet and when using the shower. However we made it work. These were the only faults/difficulties we encountered."

"Located near lots of sights and restaurants/bars downtown and still walkable to Slabtown. Only 2 blocks from the Tri-Met, too. Beds are comfy, showers have good water pressure, and the walls aren't thin. The bar downstairs is pretty nice, too. Downtown Portland is what it is, but this location is convenient and safe. Unless the prices skyrocket, I'll likely keep staying here."

"First of all customer service is excellent. However, it's an older hotel. When we got there late in the night, the pillow cases (4) still have previous customer's sweat on them. They smelled Horrible! We complained the next morning and they changed out the pillows. Sink and bath tub have slight yellow stains. On the 2nd night around 4am, we heard 6 gun shots from the vicinity. We were a bit worried. We went down to ask about the gun shots around 7am on our way out, the receptionist said she didn't hear anything. Over all it was a decent stay, not the cleanest. Customer service was exceptional however."
