“A gem of a find, a quite location,large car park,friendly staff,dog friendly with a large field off the car park, a great inn with a large beer garden, A great selection of beers & the food taken in the bar or garden was very good. After a power cut in the early morning ( no fault of their own) power back on at 9.15am they managed to provide a full English before we checked out. We would make a point of returning again.”

“Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away.”

It ruined out stay to be honest because we booked 3 nights for a wedding in the area and wanted a nice place to get ready for the wedding and a mini break. It was a struggle to sit on the toilet as the door is literally in your face. No working extractor fan. This room is in serious need of attention because this isnt acceptable for over £120 a night. “Is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere. It is located in a beautiful area and only a few minutes walk from Bostcastle centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar is cosy. The restaurant is lovely and the food (although not much choice) is delicious. The sheets, bedding and overall conditions of the rooms are clean and comfortable.
