"The staff was excellent. The place was basic but clean. My problem is that I was the victim of theft that would have been preventable had the company been mindful of its obligation to provide security. It's their obligation by law. The door locks for a reason. Safety and the security of property. They moved me into a room, and they had the guest in that room move into a room right across from it. But they did not change the room code! They ended up kicking out the guest. The guest had the code to their old room/my room. They broke into the room and stole my AirPods. The property refused to take responsibility for the theft. Had they changed the room code, the AirPods would not have been stolen. I am glad I had my laptop and other property with me when the theft occurred. I could have faced a much bigger financial loss. It could have been worse. I did not feel safe for the rest of my stay. I have filed a police report and complained to the Florida AG about this. I am upset by the negligence, the theft, their refusal to take responsibility, and the lack of a promise to take safety more seriously by changing the room code between guests."

"First of all, the pictures are extremely misleading. The first pictures showing are supposedly the suites, which I never saw. It mislead me by thinking there was a lobby. Instead, there was a glass protected front desk with 2 clerks, very nice ladies. However, by 5 you are checking in using a glass windows with push out drawer. It certainly made me think that the neighborhood was not safe. Even though there was 24/7 sevailance, the place was totally enclosed. Apparently, it seems to be also a place of long term stay for social services recipients. It was very clean but the air conditioning was potent! You only have a very thin sheet and bed cover. I didn't even bother to ask for an extra cover. I just froze the entired night. If you turn up the air to less freezing, the floor got totally wet from the humidity. The only best thing there was the Greek Restaurant with a variation of midditerrannian food that was exceptional! Run by a family and an owner with various other Greek restaurants. It was amazing. I was indeed very disappointed because the pictures were totally misleading! There's no pool, apparently it was filled on and now there's just a big grass patch in the center. That's your outside view or courtyard. It was though very clean and I guess is what you get for your money. I just thought it might be more chick or vintage looking boutique hotels and motel. Is very close to downtown Miami, designers boutiques and great choice of restaurants."
