โWe had a wonderful stay at the Jingshan Garden Hotel. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They assisted us in securing reservations for the National Art Museum, which is nearly impossible if you don't have a Chinese phone number or speak Mandarin. โWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in Beijing for a 10 days family vacation. I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel. โit is a little hard to find, and deep inside the residential area, but it is a real Beijing experience with all the local food places just steps away! Also the staffs are very friendly, they even followed up with us to make sure we didn't leave anything unintentionally after checking out. โ

"Except for a few front desk staff, I hardly found any employees who could communicate in English. The staff's appearance was not particularly neat. The room temperature was set to 29ยฐC, making it uncomfortably hot throughout my stay. I tried to turn on the air conditioning, but it didnโt work, so I couldn't adjust the temperature. It was quite different from Pan Pacific in Singapore, so keep this in mind when booking your stay.
