Run down "chalet" in the middle of nowhere
This house is a solid 5 minutes off the main road in the middle of nowhere. It smelled musty, literally had dirt in the kitchen cabinets, broken closet door, broken toilet seat, dead bugs and cobwebs all over, dirty showers, it was poorly lit and had non-working electrical switches all over the house, the fridge was unstable and practically fell over every time we opened it, barely working dirty stove, some kitchen cabinets didn't even open and on and on it goes! We left after our first night it was so appalling! DO NOT STAY HERE! You will be sorry!

Great location, fun, kind of roughing it
The area is beautiful, great beaches nearby. The house is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but this is part of the charm. The grounds are very...wild and native. Coconut trees aplenty, wonderful tropical feel. The house is not as nice as the pictures make it look. I would consider this place to be a step above glamping. That being said, if you're willing to rough it a little bit, it's still a great place to stay. Just know what you're getting into! There is a stove but no oven, no dishwasher. Still much potential for a great vacation, but definitely not a four star experience. The staff are kind of hard to reach, but when you do, they are very helpful. Make sure you ask them to set the wifi up right when they check you in! La Poza is the best beach nearby.
