โThe Roundabout was a very charming hotel situated in a quiet and peaceful countryside in UK - very appealing for a relaxing family weekend or couple's romantic getaway. However it lacked safety notices which should have been imparted by the hotel staff to foreigners who are new to this kind of environment - for instance, I got burned by the openly exposed copper pipe which was piping hot located along the wall underneath the heater and there was no notice of caution on the public gentlemen...
โGreat stay! Was upgraded to nicer room on arrival. Comfy beds, lux bathroom, tea/coffee and fresh baked cookies - heaven! Walked to Amberley Black Horse pub for drinks & snacks (and board games) then back to hotel for their 5 course tasting menu - most enjoyable! โ
โThe room we booked was massive and the bed really comfy .The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really good and the dinner we had on the 1st night was all homemade and really good we definitely reccomendโ
โWe had a fantastic stay at The White Horse Inn. Lovely small hotel, v friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area. Highly recommend it. โ
โThis is lovely. Accommodation is good and practical. The breakfast was really good. Tricky walk to the worlds end pub but you are in the best Sussex countryside so enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would love to have stayed longerโ
โThis has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.โ
โLovely place to stay, made even better by the friendly staff. Room was cleaned each day by Wendy who was lovely. Breakfast was amazing and filled us up for the day. Will definitely be back!โ
โGreat location and place. Room was very clean. Bed was a bit soft for our liking but otherwise great. Would have been nice if Breakfast was available.โ
โService is friendly and impeccable. The food is superb and much of it is grown on site in the kitchen garden (daily tours available). We had a birthday dinner party for 12 adults in the Garden Room and we were looked after incredibly well. Lovely scenery at no extra charge! Hugely recommended. Best to stay in the main hotel if you can rather than the wagons or sheds. โ
โIt is next to a busy road but I didnโt hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience.โ
โMy friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. โ
โGreat hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other roomsโ
โGreat value for money in a quiet, pretty village. A perfect short stop to explore the south downs and coast. I would stay again if i return to the area.โ
