Nômade Temple Tulum

"I had a very mixed experience here. I booked a beachfront room at Nômade Temple months in advance specifically because I wanted direct beach access. In the weeks before my stay, I received around nine emails promoting yoga, activities, upgrades, and other extras. Not one mentioned that my room was no longer available or that I would be moved to a sister property. I only learned this when I arrived. To their credit, the replacement room was very nice and had a private pool, and the staff throughout the stay were friendly and helpful. But it was still not the beachfront room or experience I had booked and paid for months earlier. The beach was also essentially unusable because of extremely heavy sargassum. Obviously the hotel cannot control that, but given how central the beach is to the experience they sell, I think guests should be warned when conditions are this severe. The property is beautiful and the staff were good. My main frustration is the communication. If you can send guests nine emails selling additional services, you can send one telling them the room they booked is no longer available."

"Great location, fantastic mattress and lovely balcony in our room overlooking the ocean. We were lucky enough to see a giant sea turtle on the beach as the sun rose as we were there in nesting season. As it was out of season, the restaurant and all food and drink services only ran from 9am to 5pm so there was no way to get dinner at the hotel itself. Not a problem as loads of great places to eat are easily walkable. The room was aesthetically excellent, however it was missing some basic amenities that you would want such as fridge, coffee machine and proper clothes storage. It’s a good hotel in a great location and when the food service is operating, the food and drinks are of a very high standard. It’s also a huge bonus that it has 2 pools, the very famous chequer board one, which gets the music from the DJ sets they have on the beach and plenty of shade in the afternoon, and a red tiled one which is exclusive to suites Panamera guests. We spent most of our time at this pool as it’s very private, quiet and a great place to sunbathe and relax. We’ve now stayed at lots of different hotels in Tulum on the beach road and I do recommend this hotel."

"My stay at Sana was excellent. Special thanks to Joss, Saul and Renato, the concierge personnel who ensured every moment of my stay was worry-free. Also, Andres and Phillipe, who ensured every meal was well-paced with impeccably attentive service. The rooms were gorgeous and well-appointed with every amenity you’d need. And everything I ate at Sana was delicious. My personal favorites were the shakshuka served at breakfast, the short rib tacos at lunch, catch of the day for dinner, and the amazing house made focaccia and decadent guacamole for a beachside snack. Many visitors to Tulum have commented on the sargassum build up which does effectively limit the ability to swim in the ocean, but even before check-in Sana concierge staff sent me a curated list of activities to take part in all around Tulum. The list included top rated restaurants and gorgeous cenotes, which they also arranged transport to. I think this ended up being a blessing in disguise because I likely wouldn’t have explored those local gems otherwise. Overall great for couples/groups and especially safe for solo travelers. Thank you to the entire Sana team for a wonderful stay in Tulum!"

"Amazing experience: exactly what we needed in Tulum We moved to Delek Tulum after having a disappointing experience at Azulik, and the difference was incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They made our group feel comfortable and immediately turned our trip around. The property was clean, well maintained, and everything worked exactly as it should. The A/C kept the rooms comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the amenities were clean and fully functional, and having a beautiful pool to enjoy was a huge plus. What stood out the most, however, was the staff and the service. Everyone we interacted with was attentive, kind, and happy to help. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, which is exactly what you want when vacationing in Tulum. After moving hotels, we were finally able to relax and enjoy the rest of our vacation. Our entire group of six was very happy with the decision to stay at Delek. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Delek Tulum to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, welcoming place with excellent service. Thank you to the entire Delek team for turning our trip around!"

"The hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance were impeccable. We especially appreciated being able to communicate with the staff via WhatsApp at any time and how attentive they were to our needs throughout our stay. The price is definitely worth it, as the staff goes above and beyond to make the experience truly pleasant and enjoyable. The breakfast is great!"

"Everything about our stay at La Zebra was perfect! If you want a small hotel with every detail considered, where the staff are ALL amazing, kind, warm and so friendly then La Zebra is for you. A beautifully styled hotel, complete with every modern touch yet embracing Mexican art and culture, it is the kind of place where you can totally relax. The food and drinks were incredible, our particular favourite was the ceviche! The staff became more like old friends, nothing was ever too much trouble. We stayed for 2 weeks and honestly wished we could have stayed longer! We would not hesitate to recommend this special place and cannot wait to return!!"
