"I was Beyond disappointed. Rooms smelled like a tiki torch fuel. You cant flush toilet paper and are asked to leave it in the trash in the room for 24 hrs. the beach was dirty and unclean. I asked for a refund and they didn't honor it or give me credit to one of their alternate properties Very poorly managed"

"If you're looking for a five-star resort with a very natural feel, this is for you. The amenities, restaurants and staff are top notch. Still very equal friendly. It's an adventure, just walking around the property. Unfortunately, the ocean was full seaweed. The resort did have workers there every morning keeping the sand looking pristine."

If you are looking for an all inclusive luxury experience, look elsewhere. That is not what Sivana Tulum is about. Each room here is unique, with a rustic feeling that is part of its charm - It feels like Tulum before Tulum was discovered by the rest of the world. In most rooms AC is available only at night, but we did not miss it- our room stayed nice and cool anyway, with breezes coming off the ocean. And Sivana's beach location can't be beat. Despite the crowds nearby, it feels very private. Also, it accumulates minimal sargasso compared to other locations we visited on the beach, which is a nice perk!"
