We really loved that the hotel has its own private reception area for the check-in process. Ángel Santana assisted us and was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. He assigned us a great room and was also able to get us a reservation at the restaurant we really wanted to dine at to celebrate our anniversary. His attention to detail and excellent service made our stay even more special. The food was good and there was a nice variety of options. However, the service from some of the waiters at the buffet could be improved. Access to the water park is definitely a great plus. We had an amazing time and enjoyed it so much! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

All though it states adult only resort it is not there is only one pool on the whole resort dedicated to adults. They also state they have 11 restaurants but only one does not need reservations. It is super difficult to even get a reservation for any of the restaurants. Food was not the best. Check in and check out were easy

Great staff. The taste of the adult beverages were NOT weak. They were well made and the bar staff knew how to make multiple drinks. The meals offered were plentiful with variety. Keep in mind not every country makes things like your country but a variety of taste and options should be welcomed by visitors respectively. Prices for massages were way over priced compared to great massages here in Texas and Florida. The erosion on the beach, I fully understand mother nature, yet the resorts west of us were well maintained and not all the seaweed was still laying on the sand. Was it mother nature just dumped it all on Royalton or did the the other resorts put more effort into cleaning it up. The karaoke night that I attended at 9pm at night had its good side and its bad side. The management should take a real close look at the song options that are on their play list and keep in mind that even though its in the Hideaway (adult only) section that the music can be heard past the walls and loud music about a females lower birthing area and how it should be felt and how wet it is has no place at a resort with open walls for everyone to hear. I saw a few older couples walk away shaking their heads in discuss. As an older man seeing and young woman sing this song and act things out was a real disappointment for the professionalism I thought the resort would have not allowed if they knew what was on the set list options to sing. I will not being going back to this this resort.

Well first off we booked the honeymoon suite which includes a jacuzzi, well the jacuzzi didnt work instead it almost flooded the whole room our butler wasn’t willing to do nothing about it besides sending someone to clean it and letting us know we wouldn’t be able to use it , That was until I showed him some character and frustration that we got moved to another room and offered a lobster for dinner also , we had the ladies that clean come in the room at the most random time in one one of the ladies came in like at 7am when I was laying in the bed without any type of clothes she didn’t knock or anything and we didn’t have a sign to get the room serviced in the door either which was uncomfortable besides that pool very nice , beach pretty clean , Food a solid 7/10 for a foreigner probably a 4/10 But yea the staff and management were a good headache

I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife and family, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The service and accommodations were excellent from start to finish. A special thank you to Smelin, the Property Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and the thoughtful welcome amenity prepared in our room was a wonderful touch that made the occasion even more special. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. The buffet offerings were outstanding, with a great variety of delicious options available each day. One area that could use some improvement is a few of the à la carte restaurants. While the service was good, some menu items did not quite meet the expectations set by the overall quality of the resort. We stayed in the adults-only Hideaway section of the hotel, which was a major highlight. The exclusive atmosphere, added privacy, and premium liquor selections made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. Thank you to the entire team for making our family vacation so memorable.

Tha facility is as a whole is excellent. Just a few things to consider. The hotel could use a lot more more beach towels. After 2 PM is difficult to find towels. The waiting time at the stake house was unacceptable and the meal when it came hours later was literally was cold. The staff is extraordinary, very nice interactive and polite people. Except for a rude lady at the Hideaway Dimond pool bar on the afternoon of Saturday the 28th. She humiliated me in front of all the other customers for asking for a simple bucket of ice. As a third time visiting Dimond customer, I assumed was allowed to get ice at any location.

There was a huge lack of communication on check in. No direction or assistance on getting to the room. Dinner reservations would not work properly on the royaltan app (once we were told how to even make reservations). A concierge assisted the first few days with reservations after seeking help but when I declined to do the promotional meeting they would no longer assist. Our room fan did not work and I made 5 different complaints and it was never fixed. It is advertised as adults only but only a few restaurants and 1 smaller pool was adults only. The food was great, I did not experience one bad meal. The maid was amazing and made sure our room was cleaned daily. The bartenders and restaurant staff was great. There was a lack of activities in the adults only pool and you could hear screaming children from the other areas. The beach was beautiful and clean minus some seaweed but workers cleaned it every morning. Overall, I would not go back to this resort or recommend it to anyone else.

Excellent Stay

I really enjoyed my stay, I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. All personnel made us feel comfortable throughout our stay! I couldn't find a bad moment the whole week. Jennifer who works at the Hideaway went up and beyond making me and my wife comfortable. The food was excellent my room was immaculate on a daily basis. This was my first all inclusive trip and I enjoyed it!

We got the swim out room I loved the privacy we got when we didn’t want to be in the main pool. The food was rarely ever hot which made the taste of it subpar. Diamond club you get room service which was nice. Cleaning staff did well maintaining the property. Our butler Jhoenmy was amazing, he helped us with excursions, transportation, luggage pick up and drop off, reservations. You name it and he was on it. Must try the steak house and hibachi for dinner. Dorado for breakfast.

The property was nice. The place was relaxing and felt like there was something to do always, never a bored moment. Estela from housekeeping made our room everyday and went above and beyond on the presentation and always making sure everything is to perfection.

Nice beach area and property is large and spread out. Buffet area was always fresh food and clean. Did not like the noise created by all the activies and food areas who were competing for your attention.
