"Great people and a perfect room. Good location for visiting many places in Dorset. The inn is an old thatched building with a decent beer garden and covered outdoor eating. The food is very good pub fayre and there are interesting specials. On Friday and Saturday delicious pizzas are also served, cooked in the outdoor wood fired pizza oven Breakfast is included with the room and there are a good variety of choices with quality ingredients. A great find that we will revisit if ever on holiday...

"Clean room, lovely staff and great location. Only stayed one night but wish it could have been two nights. Also Hetties Bar was amazing. Great food and service. "

"The place was right around the corner of rail station, so easy to get to. Was quiet for being so near to railway. The free laundry set up was very convenient; even provided detergent. Would stay there again. Thank you."

"I really cannot accurately review this hotel as I had a fall shortly after checking in and ended up in Salisbury A&E for over 4 hours being stitched. I missed dinner in the restaurant and only slept in the bed for a few hours before having to check out.
The room was lovely, although dodgey phone service & internet."

"Generously sized room ( No 3) which was well appointed ; very comfortable bed and quality linen. Room overlooks the pub courtyard but no noise problem in November. "
