Unfortunately, I hadn't read the negative reviews before I booked our stay at the Rainbow Sea Resort. While our suite had stunning views over the ocean and was attractively decorated in a Hamptons/beachy style, as shown in the promotional photos, those were the only positives. The bathroom and kitchen were in dire need of a thorough deep clean; there was grime and black mould in the bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell in the kitchen. I should also point out that, although the Resort's website states that guests can book tours at the front desk, this is no longer the case.

The apartment was generally great but I was very disappointed with a few things regarding to cleanliness. The master bedhead was full of stains as was the coverlets over the single beds. The hot water also didn’t go very hot which was disappointing as we had super cold weather. Other than that, the apartment was clean, had an amazing view of the ocean and the pool was heated.

Would highly recommend this property. The view from our balcony was incredible. Easy 5 min stroll to the beach and surf club. We will be back!

Beautiful views from the large apartment. We liked the added extra of the water and ice filter on the fridge. Overall an outstanding stay.

No blinds in living area and not private. Blinds in bedroom had a big gap in centre. Apart from that the property was beautiful.

A great layout, a full kitchen which helped with cooking meals to save a few dollars on eating out. Very spacious. And what a veiw, very rare that the reality actually looks as good as the brochure. Will definitely be back.

parking space not suitable for anything larger than a small car, had to park on the street. no printed instructions for the tv/foxtel or aircon work it out for yourself.

This place is fantastic, we were only booked for 2 nights ended up booking a 3rd night didn’t want to leave. Can not recommend Rainbow Sea Resort highly enough we loved it.

The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment was fantastic. The balcony was huge and the view and sea breezes were amazing. The addition of the air conditioning was useful on a hot weekend, though we were comfortable out on the balcony too. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful view from a big deck, spacious rooms, good kitchen with appliances, underground parking so that the car can stay cool, close to everything (the beach, 4x4 rental, shops and Carlo Sand Blow).

Luxury with great views
The accomodation is fabulous with great views of the bay. Wonderful balcony to take in the scenery whilst dining. Great spa bath with windows opening to bedroom and views of bay. Everything you would ever need in the kitchen. Very friendly staff. Easy walk to beach and everything in town.

Close to facilities and car parking worked out after holiday period. The heated pool was just awesome with enjoying a sunset swim. I had issues with the threat of extra cost when the dishwasher failed to comply with the provided tablets. My Daughter has special needs so I had to cook for her.. and I found this extra charge threat confronting. I did my best to comply.

Ideal holiday location
Everything about our stay was as good as we could have asked for. Excellent view, close to beach and walks. Close to shopping and cafes. Apartment well set out, spacious and good facilities.

Magnificent view, unit was amazing and so close to the township that we could walk to dinner, coffee and to the beach. It was wonderful - a great little get a way to recharge the batteries.

Long weekend at the beach.
Had a great weekend spent with family. Lots to see and do. The whales were easy to spot from the large balcony, take binoculars. Can easily walk to the beach for a morning swim and pool was lovely.

Beautiful apartment close to the beach.
Great location and lovely apartment. Would definitely stay there again although the king size bed in the master bedroom was hard and fairly uncomfortable.
