Seems there is a communication breakdown between Expedia and this resort - they have no spa, and have no links with a spa, so if Expedia offers you a spa treatment with your booking - don't expect to get it. A few others staying there seemed to have also missed that there is no restaurant or food available on site - the villas are self catering, with some basics provided. That said, beautiful location, stunning beach and lagoon - could do with better beach amenities though

Adoramos o hotel. Localização maravilhosa de frente para uma praia linda. Quarto muito confortável, com uma vista linda para o mar, espaçoso e bem equipado, com uma cozinha e itens básicos como sal, pimenta e azeite. Também fornecem um kit de boas vindas com frutas, pães, manteiga, queijo, ovos, etc. isso ajuda muito a preparar as refeições, já que não há restaurante no hotel. Há um mercado bem em frente ao hotel, outra conveniência. Voltaríamos com certeza

Lovely accommodation right on the water. Use of e-bikes, snorkel gear and kayaks allows you to experience so much of the island. Will happily return!

We would absolutely 💯 rate Motu for anyone wanting to have a private and peaceful stay in Rarotonga. Amy. & Claire are very helpful in all aspects of ensuring you have a great stay. Offering advice on activities and restaurants - cafes etc and will make bookings on your behalf. We have just returned after 10 days. Sadly the wind coming off the lagoon - ocean made it cooler when sitting outside our villa ( oceanfront ) plus it was their winter, but in the sheltered pool area it was lovely and warm. There is the rooster wake up calls but it’s not bad. Chester the resort dog and Kiki the cat are friendly. One day I’d love to get back. Thank you Motu for helping make our first visit, an amazing visit to Rarotonga.

A fabulous play to stay. Beautiful villas, stunning location and a short walk to some great restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful and we loved the breakfast supplies, newspapers and pastries. Looking forward to going back.

The Management & staff were wonderful, thoughtful touches with the newspaper delivered each morning & breakfast supplied on Sunday, Our bungalow was absolute beach front and very private, the best holiday by a long shot we have ever had.

The villas were amazing, the staff was amazing, the dog Chester and the kitty were amazing. We loved the touches of the stocked fridge, the water bottles and the bag. But the real treat is that the snorkeling off the beach is the best in Raro. We would come back in a second! Wonderful place

The Motu Beachfront was a little piece of Paradise. The setting and villas are marvellous and the hospitality of Lucille, Tony and Mii was beyond compare.

The Motu Beachfront Art Villas were an awesome blend of "upmarket hotel" and "self-contained villa", giving us hotel-like hospitality and service, while still allowing us to have our own space and cook if we needed to. The location was super convenient, with a supermarket right across the road and a car-hire company next door. For anything a bit further, we could also borrow one of the e-bikes free of charge. We had a beautiful beach view. There were also kayaks, snorkelling gear, and paddle boards available to borrow at any time, and with the coral reef and tropical fish just 20 m from our front door, we couldn't go wrong. We also absolutely loved the honesty bar, where you could go and make yourself a drink by the pool, and it was charged to the room. The only small issue was that our airport shuttle was scheduled for the wrong time (even though we gave them our flight details and arrival times), so they were a bit late picking us up, but they were quick to resolve this (fortunately, I had a local phone number to call them). The team was super friendly and very hospitable.
