It was amazing and beautiful. Alpine Lodge is a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing, and accommodating place to stay. The staff is exceptional. Would highly recommend for anyone!! 10/10.

Red River Fall Visit
Needs updating. Only one small TV in 2 br upper unit, no light in cooking area, service desk usually empty, sound of construction all day, no help offered to get supplies to rooms (older couple). We asked for upgrade to lower unit, told none available, the place emptied on Sunday and rest of week lodge very empty but no offer to move us to lower unit. Grounds were very nice, enjoyed access to river, fire pit, cooking areas and hot tubs.

Thank you for the review and feedback! We do apologize that your stay was not as good as we would have hoped. Though we did have a lot of checkouts on Sunday, we did not have any comparable rooms on ground floor available for the majority of your stay. We would encourage any guests that may want assistance to let us know! We have no problem helping carry guests items to a room when asked. We hope that you give us another chance in the future!

Love Red River & had a great stay at Alpine Lodge. Friendly staff & clean/comfortable room. Already miss the cooler temps. Will be back!!

Great getaway from Texas heat.
Our room was older but lovely. Lots of light and air. Room was clean and large. 2 balconies with 2 different views. Would stay in the same room again but found being on the 3rd floor more difficult at 74 and 83 years of age but will stay at eh Alpine Lodge again as we have always enjoyed our stays there.

We loved that it was within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Parking was easy and you even gave my sister a parking pass. Not real crazy about having to take out the trash and making sure dishes were washed and put away, but otherwise, it was great!

Was a run of the mill overpriced motel that shows a bit or wear like on the carpets and electric system. Was clean and comfortable for what we wanted for one night.

Rustic mountain lodge
