This is my family's second stay at Ponderosa then they updated the rooms!! We stayed three nights and they had everything we needed including a hair dryer. The bed was comfortable. The location is great, closed to a park, restaurants, the ski lift. Thank you!

Mike and his family have turned this long-standing motel into a 5-star hotel. The upgrades to the room are amazing. The rest of Red River, NM is going to have to step up to beat this place!! It is conveniently located across from the Brewery and Der Markt. Pizza is next door. I can highly recommend.

I really like the location. The lodge is pretty much right in the center of town within easy walking distance of everything. They are currently doing renovations but the unit we stayed in was nicely accommodated. I also like that they're a pet friendly location which made it very nice for us to bring our pups along.
