“Royal Hotel has it all and more and for a lot less $$. Based on our actual experiences of 9 stays over the past 6 months, this complex is deserving of much more than 3 star rating. This review is based on our stay of Oct 22/23, 2 rooms w/1 adult in each, 1 room pet friendly. Check in was quick with a very knowledgeable and personable receptionist. I was traveling with a small dog and was pleasantly surprised with our pet friendly room. We found the only difference being the laminate flooring...

“Room needed extra care in cleaning. Long hairs in tub and soap in container at the sink. Continental breakfast was not best and very few items”

“Very acceptable accommodation for rate and location. Friendly staff.”

“The room was clean, but our room as advertised as sleeping five but then we had to pay extra for a cot which was a let down. The breakfast was not good at all. For one night it was fine, but I wouldn’t choose to stay there longer. The staff was friendly.”

“아침 식사가 다른 건물에서 제공되는데 아주 훌륭합니다”

“Bed bugs. Check the mattress before staying here. I woke up covered in bites, and when I raised my concerns, the woman I spoke with called me a liar, as though I would have any reason to make something like that up. The room was also extremely noisy, the door didn't latch properly, and there was no ventilation. I was driving through to Regina and just needed a clean, comfortable place to get some rest for me an my dogs. Very disappointing. Never again.”

“First room, no heat. second room, No heat control. Third room heat but tramatized me for awhile... cockroach infestation. We were moved to their sister hotel... however, when reached out to Expedia, and Expedia reached out to the hotel. Not even a refund was offered. It had to be asked for and they never gave a refund. I feel I will forever be haunted and never want to sleep in lloydminster again.”
