Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. It should be noted that there is an opportunity to taste very good local wine on site.”

“Very good deal, breakfirst included. The hotel is walkable from Regua. There is another one bed, ideal for family with one kid. Room id very clean insideout, the staff is friendly. Only thing to mention, check in is strict, but there is locker for luggage storage. I am very happy with everything.”

“Hotel is located on hill area, view is very good from terrace area. Room is clean. Room has no iron box. Basic amenities with simple hot pot. Dog barking outside, we could hear the noise from bathroom window. Breakfast is ok, there are not many other choices outside the hotel near by or near station area. ”

“Beautiful hotel in rural setting. Owner Miguel reserved our Acoura 516 bridge tickets as our international charge card was not accepted. The continental buffet breakfast was delicious and freshly served. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening which Miguel started each evening. If we return to the area to hike we will definitely stay here again. It was impressively clean and staff (his family :) friendly. ”

“The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! ”

“Beautiful property in a beautiful setting. The staff are wonderful. The manager gave us helpful suggestions for enjoying the area and even drove us to the train station on Easter Sunday morning when we checked out as taxis might have been difficult.”

“We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great.”
