“We couldn’t say enough about our stay! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were very clean with a great Italian flare. There is lots of history to the property that we enjoyed. We loved our wine tour, and Thomas was extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout our experience. The resort was quiet and peaceful, with only a 20minute taxi to Florence we were still able to explore the nearby city. The front desk was extremely helpful and every worker went above and beyond. “The pool was so warm that it couldn’t help cool you down in the heat. Breakfast was scarce and lots of flies around the tables. Not much for kids to do. We checked out after 2 night even though we paid for 7 and they wouldn’t consider a refund. The villa at the top of the hill is much nicer with a proper restaurant and 2 pools but it was closed off for a private wedding. I wouldn’t go there again”

“The location is great, it is up on a mountain past Londa but to get to it you need to go up some ver inclined hills, definitely a different experience for someone looking to be away from the big city. The host was a very attentive super friendly guy that made sure we got there safe and was always there to help us. ”

“We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature.”
