"The desk staff helped me get a ground floor as I have leg issues. Then the room is really clean; basic but has all you need. The bed was comfortable. They had a nice breakfast spread and I will go back. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone not needing 5 star folderol."

"The view was beautiful. The hospital helicopter pad was quite noisy. I respect that this hotel / Castle is quite old, but the hallways were very noisy. The stairs were creaky. The elevator was extremely loud and the helicopter pad of the hospital next-door also woke me up several times in the middle of the night. There was also a loud humming that came from the hotel room fridge. Overall, it was a good stay, but not excellent. I wouldn’t stay again."

Steer clear of the bubble craps in the casino as the dice seemed to favor the house at a level I have never encountered before having played craps for over thirty years. Sadly the real craps tables were not available during our stay due to ongoing renovations."
