"We enjoyed our stay very much - clean, modern and comfortable room, lots of choice in terms of pools and we were even able to use the beach on rare sargassum-free days. The food at Adelita Mexican restaurant is stellar, buffet is also good though they don't change the dishes every day so not a lot of variety. We got four speciality meals for a ten-night stay, I felt one more would have been the correct amount as would have liked to try all 5 speciality restaurants. The grounds are pretty and full of cute agoutis running around, but the location is a real selling point - Puerto Aventuras is a very safe, gated community, so you can walk over to the nice marina and do some souvenir shopping/eat out."
