Riviera Maya, Mexico hotel rooms at the Excellence Resorts

"This was my first time reviewing a place I stayed, but Barcelo Maya Riviera truly deserved it. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their kindness. Although our room wasn’t ready at check-in, they quickly reassigned us to another available room so we could settle in right away. Every interaction—from front desk to servers and bartenders—was friendly and accommodating. Most restaurants offered four-course meals and happily provided extra dishes for us to sample. We spent most of our time by the pool near the Music Bar, where the bartenders were efficient and fun, and even tho we know they were on the clock, it look like they were actually enjoying what they were doing, a lot of them engaging on the activities with the guest and giving the impression that they were actually having a good time. We didn’t feel the need to leave the resort thanks to the convenient shuttles and walkways connecting the properties. Maya Riviera stood out for being more relaxed and less crowded than the others. All in all, the experience exceeded our expectations! "

"I absolutely loved my stay on the resort. Don’t be cheap get the enclave upgraded suites it’s totally worth it. We had a regular king suite jungle view & switch immediately the next day to a king suite that came with 2 bathrooms, a tub & 2 balcony. It also comes with butler service which made everything so convenient. He took care of everything, ask for Rapheal he was the best. The food is also really good, do not believe ppl who say the food is nasty, they’re just not use fresh food without all the junk in it. Also when you get the suite you have access to a private pool & restaurants as well as the enclave suite where you can catch some AC, relax, get a drink & eat and snack in. The property is so beautiful & so many amazing places to take pictures. You can also book excursions right on the resort & it wasn’t expensive. We did ATV, Swam in the cenote & ziplining for $250 a person. They even pick you up & drop you all. And for all my wellness ppl they have fitness classes for free. I caught a 7:30am yoga class on the beach right in front of the ocean. It was nice. "We absolutely love the resort. It was beautiful, clean, the restaurants were amazing . The stag was very friendly and we love how there was so much to do. Even though there was a bus we chose to walk everywhere we went. It was great exercise burning off all the food and alcohol we were consuming "
