โUnfortunately, the room we reserved was not handicapped accessible, even though my phone call to the property seemed to indicated that we could navigate to our room. We ended up having to forfeit our kitchenette room. But the proximity to the waterfront was wonderful. We couldn't navigate to the actual beach due to a rocky barrier, but the view from our balcony was wonderful and the sound of the waves was music to our ears. โBeautiful location in Sturgein Bay. Close to town & walkable to a public beach and many attractions and shops a clise drive to even more options for shopping and eating. The view of the bay, islands & penninsulas makes me realize how special my ancestors must have felt when founding Door County. โ
โI highly recommend staying here. It is a country setting, with well maintained, peaceful grounds. The rooms are comfortable and it is a restful atmosphere. There is easy access to the highway that allows you to head north and see the entire coastline of Door County. We would come back! โ
โVery tasty, homestyle breakfast and friendly, nice staff. Love the history of the place to include antique- like decor. The yards are decorated in an English style plantings of many, beautiful perineals. Housed in a quiet residential area and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. We would stay again. โFantastic property set in the woods. Place is absolutely huge. All the amenities from coffee make, dishes utensils,grill. Basically home away from home. Breakfast was brought every morning and could feed an army. Nighly bonfire. Great location going into rest of door county โ
