Oceanside Villas

Oceanside Villas

8/10 Good
"The room was very nicely updated and very clean. The beds and pillows were so comfortable we slept very well. The staff were very helpful. We had to reduce our stay and they helped us to do that. Thank you very much for kind staff. The only thing for us was that we were in what is called the “villas”. Not the Seaside hotel. The check in was at the Seaside hotel. There was no clear walking path to our room. The parking was a small strange gravel parking area tucked in the middle of an older motel type place. The doors to get in the room were exterior doors. The outside can use a makeover."

"We went to a concert downtown and used Uber to get back to Horseshoe Bay Motel afterwards. When we got off the ferry that morning the hotel had our room ready early so we could drop off our luggage. Rooms are dated but extremely clean. Comfy beds.Staff was warm and inviting. No AC so she gave us an extra fan. Shower water pressure was unreal! And the price was right!! No downtown hotel came close. We will definitely be back."

Cedars Inn Hotel & Convention Center

Cedars Inn Hotel & Convention Center

8/10 Good
"Booked this property kind of last minute-ish after our Sunshine Coast travel plans changed slightly. The reviews are a pretty good indicator of what you're going to get — as a family of three we had a fine stay. Yes the property is on the older side but we loved the generous size of our second floor room perfect for our young child to roam around. The beds are squeaky and the walls are quite thin but other than one guest the room over blasting his TV at full volume (the friendly front desk staff was quick to help out) it was quiet when we were asleep. The bathrooms are clean, and we made good use of the nice hot tub and sauna. Some of the equipment in the gym is quite old but the free weights looked new and was sufficient to get in a quick workout or two. The meal vouchers for Tim Hortons are honestly a nice touch and can actually be used any time of day. The property being right in central Gibsons across from the mall was really handy too. Would stay again :)"
