โItโs our third stay over the span of 4 years. Excellent motel, great staff and service, clean room. Quiet location right by the water, very conveniently situated from the transportation standpoint, close to Downtown Nanaimo, and many restaurants and stores are within 10-15 min drive.โ
โThe only issue we had was we were rushed at check out, housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:45 saying records indicated we had already checked out. As we were walking out the door the phone started ringing. This was a Monday morning, weโre sure it wasnโt that busy that the room needed to be straightened promptly at 11:00. โ
โ Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and had good sound proofing considering the TransCanada noise outside. Easy access to the ferries. Will stay here any time we travel through Nanaimo. โ
โEric the front desk staff was great! Friendly and made the check-in process as easy as could be. Location was a bit noisy but convenient. Would stay again. โ
โWe stayed here after travelling from the interior and catching the late ferry. It was a great stopover with our two young kids. The room was clean, updated, and the whole grounds felt safe to be in. We showed up after check in hours but the reception left our key for us so we didnโt have to worry about timing. I would recommend staying here !โ
โLocation and staff were great. Huge rooms. the lake was nice but a ton of lake weed. Went to the public swim area down the road and the beach was fantastic โ
