“The staff at the front desk, friendly. The cleaning staff were very helpful. Room was quiet, clean. The best part they have the property fenced in. Security measures are good.”

“Honestly, out of the many hotels we stayed at driving from Virginia to Washington, in the $180 to $350 price point, The Garner was the best stay. All the reasons: great price, super clean, cute. Consistently personable and helpful staff, great water pressure in the shower, full on comfy bed. Just. Comfy. The parking was ample and diverse; with offered trailer/camper spaces. “The bathroom was horrible, fixtures were coming out of the wall, there was black mold on the ceiling. All the towels had holes in them. The bed felt old and worn out and very uncomfortable. There was no click or phone in the room. Very dissatisfied with my stay, will not being stay there again. The gentleman that checked me in was not friendly at all and didn’t even talk to me.”

“I appreciated the fact that they welcomed dogs. The rate for each seemed a bit higher than in other places. I liked that they were next door to two food establishments, so I didn't have to get back into my car. They chose a room for us near the side door. Every entry or exit roused my pups. Note the bathroom area is small with a sliding door.”

“The room was good and clean and the service people were very friendly and helpful. The only issue had to do with late night noise from some of the folks staying there and the issue of street racing at night which is not under your control but often made it hard to stay asleep. Your location otherwise was great and very convenient to visit the surrounding areas. Thanks”
