The Jangle Hotel - Paris - Charles de Gaulle - Airport
10/10 Excellent
"First of all ive never stayed in a hotel that had a 100 inch samsung smart tv.
Eventhough there were a few English channels I was able to use the Netflix and watch English movies.
The free breakfast was the highlight.
It was a buffet style and lots of seating.
The staff kept ahead keeping the breakfast buffet stocked.
There bar provided meals at a affordable price.
Bring your bathing trunks because the hotel guests get free access to the indoor water park that has 7 pools plus a huge water slide next door within walking distance.
About a 5 minute walk from and to the hotel.
The shuttle service is fast but reservations are needed if you have a large group since the van has room for large luggage but seats only 7 people.
We had 2 in our party and we're able to catch a ride back from one of the many trains that access the cdg airport.
Suggestion if you do visit the city is to buy a day pass that gives you more access around the city.
If you plan to visit the city for 2 days its even cheaper for a 2 day pass.
Be aware the city charges 1 eu to use a public restroom in the mall.
There are free portable toilets near the Paris ieffell tower.
Bring good walking shoes I wore sketchers and my feet were super tired.
The train station is amazing and provides allot of routes.
We didn't speak the language but managed ok.
As for the hotel we loved its service and the staff were super helpful.
We will come back again.
Honestly I dont have anything bad to say."
"L’emplacement est parfait avec sa cour intérieure. Pour le prix (450 euros / nuit, 730$. Canadiens) nous avons eu un système de climatisation insuffisant 3 nuits sur 6. L’excuse de l’hôtel, il y beaucoup de clients. De plus, prendre note qu’aucun service de restauration ou bar n’est offert le dimanche et lundi, le prix n’est pas ajusté…"
"We were there for 2 nights, expecting a good service. But was a very bad experience, the shower was broken, the air condition is lock and the temperature was terrible to hot, bad experience exist better options in the area"
"Beautiful hotel. A bit tricky to navigate with a bit of an odd layout and spiral stairs that can be hard to get heavy luggage up and down, but very beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
The place is clean and has a/c and feels more modern.
Only thoughts were:
1. It was freezing, I tried to turn the a/c down it was so cold. I even started to get a bit of a stuffy nose from the cold. All-in-all with it being 28 degrees outside it wasn't the worst problem to have.
2. The tv didn't work. Again, not a huge deal. I didn't go the Paris to watch TV
3. The double bed was essentially two twin beds put together. As someone who sleeps in the middle this was tricky at night as they separated a bit. But again, not a major problem. I bet it would be easier for couples.
Great spot, super convenient and really excellent staff."
