We are surprised to read this review as it appears to us that you have mixed up our Motel with some other facility. If, as you claim, you had found all these dirty linen etc in the room, you had every right to approach the front desk to demand a full REFUND, but no one approached us with any complaints. Can you verify that your stayed with us by providing your Expedia Reservation confirmation number and we will GLADLY FULLY REFUND you the amount you had paid to stay with us.We are looking forward to receiving your details as we stand by our motel's motto to provide a Clean and Comfortable stay for all our Guests.

It has brought joy to our faces when reading your comments about your stay at our Family owned Motel. We try our utmost to make every guest feel welcome and that they are accommodated with gracious hospitality by putting "home style" touches to our rooms. In this Festive Season you certainly have brought cheer to us. We look forward to your return visit in the New Year.

Thank you for your comments. Yes we immediately refunded you when you stated that you did not like the 2 rooms. We cannot control what happens in a room once a guest checks in, in this case it seemed that some previous guest had smoked marijuana in that room, and we did our best to defog and deodorize that room but apparently some smell still remained that caused you to move to a different room. In the 2nd room you found dead bugs along the wall edges, just proves that our monthly Pest Control Company(BUG ZERO ) from Springfield, MO is doing a fine job to deter bugs from entering and staying in our rooms. In today's environment it is difficult to get good help and so we have to make do with whatever help we can get and thus the dust and removal of dead bugs can be missed out by the housekeeping staff. At the rate of 62.00 per night we offer an economical stay with no fancy 5 star services.You are free to not recommend our business and we hope that anyone reading our response to your comments will understand our predicament and appreciate that we are still in this business for the past 20 years.Bob Desai. Thank you very much for your observation. In today’s environment it is very difficult to get good help and thus we accept that we have to do with any housekeeping help we can get. We were planning a major renovation to the property but due to high costs of scarce raw materials we have put a pause on our plans and will commence renovations once the economy gets back on track. We have kept our room rates at a very reasonable rate to ease the pain for our guests. Thank you once again for your frank and precise review.

Thank you for your comments. We have had a huge problem in retaining housekeeping staff ever since the Covid pandemic. So we do admit that the cleanliness issue is something that really worries us. Good help is very difficult to find as a majority prefer to not work as they can claim hefty unemployment benefits. We hope that things will get back to normal soon. Please accept our apologies.
