No staff both in afternoon and in the evening, doors in front of hotel unlocked, and restaurant not opened and no one there even when hours posted otherwise. "Still good location even though you will need to take the vaporetto (boat bus) or people mover (tram) to get to venice centre. No restaurant around the area and decent mercato, so if you like having snacks or drinks. Please buy them at the city centre and take them in to your room. The hotel offers somes snack but very limited choices. "
