"Price was good but the room I was in needed maintenance fixtures ready to fall off lights did not work bathtub needed cleaning it was clogged I would stay there again "

"We chose this Hotel as it was in a great location for the Ceremonial start of the Iditarod. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to go for these events. Rooms were clean and up to date. Only thing thst we noriced we would have wanted was a microwave. One thing that did surprise us was the cost of parking in the area. $40/day to park your vehicle with the valet, and almost as much to park anywhere else in the area. "

"Rooms were decent but bedding wasn't clean or changed. Shower was leaking water the whole time wasn't able to plug the tub for a bath for my toddler. Morning staff are lazy had been left on hold for 1hr for reservations confirmation. Tv reception was crappy couldn't connect to wifi or connect my phone to.the tv for movies to watch. Sketchy homeless people everywhere inside and outside. Pool was freezing cold to swim in, no towels in the pool area. $30 to have your cat or dog per night. Breakfast was edible but not that great. The heater was blowing cold n hot all night long so i couldn't get comfortable. When we started to pack and leave i took the sheets off the bed and found dirty towels under the sheets found asock as well. The room had a musty smell to it as well. Through Expedia the price was worth the stay. Id give this hotel a 2.5 star rating they could do better. Staff could have been more polite and actually do as their required to do for the jobs it'd be a better stay. "

"Aliah was the nicest person, she checked me in when I arrived and everyone on the staff was super friendly. If work sends me back to Anchorage, I will absolutely stay at this property again. Such a pleasant stay."

"You deserve better than to stay here. Don't make the same mistake we did. From our very first interaction, when we called for an airport shuttle and the person on the phone sounded annoyed, it was a terrible experience. We arrived late in the evening and got checked into our room. It was disgusting. There were pubic hairs and crumbs in the bed (even though the beds had been made), and it was obvious that the bathroom had not actually been cleaned since the last guest. Maybe ever, who knows. We asked the front desk and the clerk was apologetic and said they had been having issues with housekeeping. He gave us a new room which was only slightly better. The bathroom was still gross but it was late and figured housekeeping would come the next day. They did not. There were hairs in the towels. When we asked the front desk for more towels a different clerk was there and he was rude and rolled his eyes. The hair dryer started smoking when my wife turned it on. The bathroom door did not close properly as it was off the hinges. That said, the location was great. That was literally the only redeeming quality for this awful hotel. "

"The area is extremely sketchy, the inside of the main hotel has been remodeled. The evening staff was extremely accommodating and kind. There was a mouse in my room in the middle of the night. The person in the morning who told me she was the front desk manager was extremely rude unaccommodating and needs to be coached on customer service skills. I was on a 7:30 appointment for the shuttle I got up to the lobby at 7:32 she did not apologize for them leaving me behind I asked why didn't someone call at 7:15 if they weren't going to wait for me to walk 2 minutes down the hallway and she said they don't call they don't remind anyone The shuttle driver came back at 7:40. I'm not sure where he went but I thought it was extremely rude and so was her behavior I was 2 minutes late getting to the lobby they should have waited or called my room. For a staff leader she does not have the skills to hold that position. I've been in hospitality for over 20 years I would not put someone with those poor customer service skills in charge of anyone. Again the evening staff was accommodating, the area is really sketchy especially for women traveling alone, there is food across the street a teriyaki place a Korean barbecue and a little pizza place, other than that you need to do DoorDash or have a rental car. The best option would be pay a little more and do not stay on spenard, Bad area & management. tourists don't know where to go, don't go to a hotel on spenard, especially this one. "
