"If you’re looking to stay in the thick of it, this is the perfect location. We stayed three nights, beds were comfy. We chose this hotel because it offered two queens by Carnegie hall. Most nyc hotels only offer two doubles. Despite booking two queens though the beds felt like they were a double and were not true queens size beds. Check in was fine, the room was somewhat clean. I found a fake nail and some food crumbs on the side of the bed which was not ideal. Room service was subpar, they only replenished towels and made the bed. Didn’t replenish water, which by the way is not complimentary unless you are a Discoverist or above Hyatt member. Our table in the room was wobbly and was a hazard to our small children so we called maintenance. When they showed up they took our table away without replacing it with another one so that was inconvenient. We didn’t have breakfast and there is no room service. We got coffee and tea at the restaurant/cafe downstairs. Only highlight of our stay was Victoria, she made our kids feel special and us feel welcomed. She gave us top notch customer service. If more people in customer service cared as much as Victoria it would be lovely. Especially since good customer service is rare to find now. Oh also the room was quite noisy, not because it was in Times Square but because the doors of the rooms were too small for the frame so there was a huge gap on the bottom of the door so you can hear everything from the hallway. "
"Not sure how this hotel is rated as a four star hotel, I think because of the location. Room was dirty and curtains had holes in them. Main and Bathroom Doors were hard to close and needed maintenance, making loud noises when trying to force them to close. No parking available through the hotel. "
"it's horrible, the lobby is always crowded because 2 of the 3 elevators are out of service during our stay, and in the last few days left, the entrance is also closed due to water leaking from the ceiling. overall, the hotel needs big time renovation. the carpets look dirty and worn-off in the hallway. some of the staff is very nice but they look tired too. when the lobby is crowded, management team didn't do anything to help with the queue and it's totally no order while people push around to get on elevator."
"Service was above and beyond. The elevator technology was not like I’ve seen before but it was well explained to me. Easy to get to from the tunnel. Room was spotless. Can’t say enough, especially for a hotel in NYC"
