I cannot recommend this property due to significant security and maintenance issues that were inadequately addressed by the management. Upon arrival, the primary lock was malfunctioning, requiring forceful manual operation to open and failing to secure the premises throughout our stay. This critical security flaw was reported to the company on two separate occasions but was disregarded, leaving us vulnerable to potential theft, violence, and break-ins. The lack of attention to this issue demonstrates a concerning disregard for guest safety. Furthermore, several pieces of furniture were in disrepair, posing a safety hazard to occupants. These issues were also reported, yet no action was taken. The advertised washer and dryer were broken and excessively noisy during operation, rendering them unusable. Despite informing the company about the malfunctioning washing machine, there was no response or attempt to rectify the problem. The property's listing falsely advertises 'city views.' In reality, there are no views of the city from any part of the property. The photographs used in the advertisement appear to be stock images of downtown San Antonio and are misleading. The property is situated outside of the downtown area in a run-down neighborhood. The property's only positive attribute is it's convenient access to the highway and downtown area. However, this single advantage is far outweighed by the significant security concerns, maintenance issues, and misrepresentation.
Let me start with the house. Itโs beautiful inside and out. It was perfectly equipped for the 5 of us (adults) to stay for our sonโs graduation from BMT at Lackland AFB. We all enjoyed the open concept living area and of course the quiet space in our bedrooms. The property manager was responsive and had great communication. This house was a very quick and easy ride to the Air Force base and to San Antonio proper where we visited a few times. The local HEB right up the road made grocery planning and delivery a breeze. I do hope more investors come in and flip more homes. The neighborhood was a little rough.
If you can look past the rough edges this is a great spot for quick and easy access to Lackland AFB and other local attractions in the 1604 corridor.
Nicely renovated home with plenty of space. Good instructions and fairly easy to get to. The neighborhood was quiet, however, it didn't appear to be in the best of neighborhoods. Overall, it worked for our purpose.
House was very nice and updated. Parking was a bit constricted. Master bedroom bed was uncomfortable for adults. Overall the stay was pleasant. Pricing was a little high for comfortability for adults. Kids had enough room to sleep reasonable in the other 3 bedrooms.
The property was well kept. Each room was large and tastefully decorated. The daily essentials like plates, flatware and glasses were ready available. And on top of everything the was easy to contact during the booking. Also getting to our destination which was to Lackland for a graduation was easy because of the nearby highways. Also near to the Alamo and Riverwalk.
