This was a great hotel for what we needed. Pool was comfortably warm and clean, room was clean with a soft bed and had a fridge, and Old Town and MCRD were within walking distance. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage after check out. Check in and check out were very easy and quick.

The service of the staff was amazing and glad to have been here for a one-night stay for a SD concert! It was convenient having the trolley station! Our room did have some older functions (restroom and layout) but for the location and occassion, it was a perfect place to rest!

The staff were kind and helpful! This was a great location near Old Town for an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Although it was by a busy road I didn’t hear traffic noises from our room. The property is a little older and that is reflected in the bathroom mostly….but it still felt clean. I even overheard a staff member telling another customer that they deep clean the carpets once a month. The breakfast was just ok. Overall I would stay here again.

Pros: 7 min walk to the old town festivities and trolley tour, quick uber ride to the airport and beaches, breakfast was decent with 2 sizes and flavors of waffles,staff was great and accommodating Cons: plug-ins only worked normal with my type c charger but my USB we had to tilt it to work, curtains closest to the windows were dingy,microwave was unplugged and not in a spot that could be plugged in easily

I like the location of this hotel, close to Old Town SD. All was well, I liked the bed, pillows, sheets were nice and crispy. Breakfast was good and a plus. Only thing, I didn't like and was not expecting was having to pay for parking and that they took $100 dollars from my card for deposit and was charged. I am sure it will be returned but kind of concerned about it.

4 stars because I got a surprise 25 dollar parking fee for my rental truck charged to me at check in, no where did Expedia show that, but grateful they had a fridge with Lean Cuisine as I forgot to eat and didn't want to uber food to myself. Good snacks but spendy, the Lean cuisine and bag of popcorn were 13 bucks. Beautiful pool but right in middle of hotel, room nice, bed nice, Walls are thin. Nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, the usual stuff. Great staff, no problems, would recommend
