The hotel is close to activities (Mission Valley Mall). We received the complementary check-in cookies which are always good. The rooms are in desperate need to update. Our room had carpet that was fairly old and had several, large burn marks. The sleeper sofa had a one-foot diameter stain on one of the cushions. The parking structure is interesting to navigate (ramps are very narrow between floors), however, there is oversize parking in the very back of the property in case you don't want to navigate the structure. This is simply because the property is fairly old.

The overall common space was very clean our room was unfortunately not. The door also would not fully close and the bathroom as well as the carpet was a bit dirty. The staff although was very helpful and friendly. Other rooms seemed very clean but our room needed some extra maintenance.
