The staff were incredible! They were so helpful and sweet. Sheets, towel etc were all provided. Everything was pretty clean and nice. Definitely recommend staying in the woman-only rooms if you’re travelling by yourself:)

The room is clean, all the sheets are replaced after every guest. Staff are also helpful. The breakfast is the only fly in the ointment, which is just oat and milk.Maybe just add some bread will be better.

This stay was my first time to the property in my very first time staying in an in my very first time staying in a hostel which I have never ever done before in my life, it was a good experience. I slept really well. I was jetlagged and very tired but accomplished what I need to accomplish when I was there. I will forever think this hostel for housing me for 2 to 3 days while you look for apartments it gives me courage to stay at other hostels elsewhere around the world. While I was here, I met other amazing and wonderful people. I am now successfully back in Europe, only for another 6 weeks and I moved my permanent home in San Diego in 6 weeks! I’m excited but hope that I see people from this hostile again, especially the wonderful attendance and people who are studying in San Diego, and where the folks that are finding their way.

Prime location, Amazing colors & design, they work nonstop keeping it extremely clean. The bunks are comfortable and kitchen's well equipped. They offer cereal, oatmeal & orange slices for breakfast, they could probably use a bigger coffee maker tho. There's a great overall vibe with helpful volunteers and Ericka the manager does an outstanding job!

First time in a hostel and incredible! Felt very safe and welcome by staff. Clean comfy bed, storage for luggage, even fun games and common areas right in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter.. If you're a light sleeper, it is surrounded by all the bars and pubs and noise, but if you came to have a good time and night life, this is for you!
