  • Small park with great views of San Diego, the skyline, Mission Bay and and the Pacific Ocean. The park is mainly visit by local people with their dogs as we can run free on the large grass area. It’s also nice for just Picknick and watching the views. RV parking was plenty along the curbside inside the park but probably hard to use the turn-back circle on the end of the park for RVs over 30 feet long. Good hotel for the price

This hotel is small, comfy, and very affordable ! It's also conveniently near the freeway, and has a mini fridge with microwave. The only thing I didn't like was the tile floor. It was cold and felt sticky on my bare feet.

For the price, it was a good place to rest your head for a few hours and take a shower. Not the cleanest (several roaches in the room), not the safest (lots of homelessness on property digging through trash and loitering), and not the most comfortable (linens were old, pillows flat, etc.). — But the staff was super sweet, they’re dog friendly, they have tiled floors (I hate carpet in hotel rooms) and it’s a good location for traveling around mission beach/sea world/ La Jolla area. Convenient to many places in San Diego. I would stay again if the price doesn’t increase. It slept myself, my boyfriend, and our dog. They have Roku TV so you can sign into your own subscriptions of just stream YouTube as a guest pretty easily. And the AC unit works great (you won’t even need it). The windows open so let the true San Diego air inside the room 😄

Motel San Diego has everything you need for convenient stay in SD! Convenient location in PB, close to the freeway so it makes a great center point to visit all other SD neighborhoods. Nothing fancy but for those of us who don’t need all the frills, it’s got all you need! Price is great, and a major plus that they don’t charge for dogs to stay too. :)
