The room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable; the AC was reliable, the shower was clean, and the bed was very relaxing - the entire vibe of the hotel is relaxing, especially the bar and pool, which was lively with people during the evening. The staff was kind too and were quick to help with a room key issue. The location is also only a brief drive away from all the major points of interest in the city. I would choose to stay here again during a future San Diego trip.
Had a great stay. Staff were outstanding - friendly, personal, available to help with everything. Pooldeck was small but cute and clean. Great happy hour, restaurant. Would stay again.
The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant located on the property is worth visiting. The cocktails and food were good, and I recommend checking out Happy Hour.
Basically, a smartly renovated mid-century modern motel with a totally chill vibe from check in—to the restaurant/bar and pool—and then your room. We kept the fan running during sleep and did not suffer any road noise. Close to airport but never heard any airport noise. Great location for all the activities for which we wished to engage.
What a beautiful boutique hotel! The room was large and beautifully decorated! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The food at Ponyboy was great and so was the location. we walked everywhere and didn’t move our car once. Would definitely stay here again!
The free bikes were incredible, bartenders were amazing. Kenneth was so helpful and offered such kindness and went above and beyond every day we were there. Loved our stay!
The room was clean and very comfortable. The property's Art Deco look was impressive. Our room air conditioner/heater was a little noisy - we advised the property of this minor, correctable problem.
Nice mid-century motel. I liked the design and the rooms. Aside from check-in, which was perfect, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff whenever I needed assistance. I’m sure they just had a bad day, like we all can have
A cozy and cute place to stay at for short or long term. It is a vibrant environment with lively music and nice place to eat. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with mid-century modern furniture, which is great. I highly recommend if you are interested in a nice, trendy place that is comfortable and vibrant. The staff is amazing and very helpful.
Staff was amazing!!! Let us check in early which was wonderful. We utilized the beach cruisers which are free to use and went all over the area. Room was clean but there was some buzzing noise throughout the night/early morning that we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. It would buzz every 15 minutes which was super annoying. Would definitely stay here again but would request a different eoom on backside of building.

Everything was perfect, A much recommended place for people going on a trip to SD. I can’t forget the super comfy bed and pillows, The wife loved them !!
Very cosy hotel with charming ambiance and nice restaurant (Great cocktails). We had some problems with the airconditioning and room cleaning, but staff dealt with it adequately and offered us a room switch and a discount. In General we had a good time Here.
