Grand SF hotel maintained through the decades! Old world style with very friendly staff and modern conveniences like iron, ironing board AND steamer, Nespresso machine, and thoughtful bathroom amenities including bar soap for the bath/shower. Enjoyed cocktails and apps in the iconic Tonga Room and all three cable car lines stopped at the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at the Fairmont for my step-daughter’s wedding. It was like walking into a movie for the Va girl. It was beautiful, clean & welcoming. Everyone was so nice. Especially enjoyed Justin the bartender & Cameron who checked us out. Is it expensive, yes, but it was definitely a trip to remember!

Absolutely love this place! Gorgeous lobby, helpful staff, great views. The daily activities were fun and our bartender in the bar was a delight! The only disappointment was the coffeeshop. It needs to be updated and the quality of the coffee and pastries really needs to match the food city that it's located in. Other than that a great stay and will happily return!

Iconic grand hotel - signature suite was very comfortable although bathroom was a little dated. Cleaning staff was excellent. Hotel dining - in room and Laurel were sub-par. Cirque bar was good for breakfast and drinks but not always open.

Suite number 8 has the best view in San Francisco! The Staff at the Fairmont was incredibly friendly, a truly memorable experience. Our room was haunted by a hunchback looking ghost, we understand the hotel is old and historic, still worth the stay.
