The hotel srtaff was amazing and the place was clean. I was on an upper floor (8th) and was very pleased at the quiet. the ONLY BAD THING...the elevator was down for two days and the stairs are very narrow ad hard to deal with walking uo and luggage.

King George Hotel is a GEM for everyone. We saw couples, singles and families here. Located walking close to everything worth seeing in downtown. The hotel staff is friendly and professional and the rooms are clean and comfy. The area was surprisingly safe, you will definitely see a few colorful people but the hype does not the match reality that the area is a bustling area were please live, shop and work. I will definitely stay with here again A+++++++++++

The place is close to everything, very safe. Easy to get to from bart. Front staff is very friendly, professional and ready to assist with recommendations. The issue is, rooms have a heater but no AC. It was a really hot day in SF. Possible that they do not have many really hot days.
