"It was a nice stay. Pool restaurant and bar staff were great. Rooms are very clean. Coffee shop could have more option for non dairy items. They only had milk. The lounge chairs for the beach were terrible. Old, dirty, ripped and definitely time for an upgrade. Also, a leak from balcony above happened and woke up to a big puddle on our balcony. All in all it was nice but I wouldn’t say memorable. "

"The staff was amazing and the hotel has an authentic charm and hello open bar! So close to everything and very walkable area! We absolutely loved this hotel. Only down side was no elevator and the shower was a bit on the cool side. But made for some fun memories. Definitely would recommend if you are ok with lugging suitcase up a few flights. 10/10 will stay here again! "

"The property is beautiful, in a great location, and most of the staff were very polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, the room was a major disappointment. We booked an ocean-view suite and paid about $2,000 extra for the upgrade, which nearly doubled the cost of our stay. We chose the suite because we were traveling with a toddler and hoped to still enjoy some time as a couple in the evenings, including relaxing and watching TV before bed. While the room did face the ocean, its condition did not match the price or expectations. The carpet looked very old and dirty, with sections coming apart. There was visible rust in multiple areas, which may be somewhat understandable for a waterfront property, but the peeling, scratched, and deteriorating furniture made the room feel neglected. Under the bathroom sinks, the exposed plumbing was extremely dirty and very noticeable. The TVs were outdated and extremely restrictive. Although the system claimed apps could be installed and inputs could be changed, neither worked. We tried both TVs and even attempted to connect a laptop, but nothing was allowed, so the relaxing evenings we planned didn’t happen. This was our first family vacation, something we had saved for a long time, and the room simply wasn’t worth the upgrade. On a positive note, the food was delicious and the bartenders made great, strong drinks."

"Our stay at the La Concha was much needed and refreshing! The room was clean, the lobby impeccable, and the staff was top notch. Whether you're chilling in their pools or relaxing beach side, towels and drinks are always nearby. We'll be back especially since the casino is pretty much in-house!"

"Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. As soon as we walked in, there was a very strong, unbearable smell. It was clear the unit had just been sprayed right before our arrival. At first I thought it was an air freshener, but then I found bug spray under the sink and realized that was the source. There were also many mosquitoes or small insects on the floor, and some even stuck to my suitcase. Communication with the host was also frustrating. I received multiple emails with check-in and check-out instructions, including options for early check-in/out. However, when I reached out about the smell, I never received a response—even after 3 days. The entrance door felt like a serious safety concern. It has a double-sided deadbolt that requires a key from the inside, meaning if someone locks it and leaves, anyone inside cannot exit without a key. That’s a major fire hazard. At the same time, leaving the door unlocked didn’t feel safe either, as the area gets busy and loud at night. The floors were also very dirty and didn’t seem to be properly cleaned—you need shoes just to walk from the shower to the bed. The only positive was the walkable distance to downtown, but overall, I would not stay here again."
