“This place is very cute and well maintained for being more than 100 years old. Their location is perfect for whoever wants to explore old San Juan. There are restaurants, souvenir shops and also parking within walking distance. They have a small kitchen where they offer free coffee and hot chocolate for guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were clean, the bathroom was also clean . Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Fortaleza and we highly recommend it.”

“Decent stay. My A/C didn’t work the entirety of the trip i reached out to the staff who were very helpful and was told someone would be out to fix it. No one ever showed up. Kind of disappointing being a bit uncomfortable in such a hot place like Puerto Rico. I also was under the impression that this was some sort of hotel and the room would be getting cleaned daily but maybe that’s just on me. But other than that the location was a solid launch point to get anywhere in san juan.”

“La ubicación excelente, el hotel limpio,comunicación con recepción excelente. Lo único que tienen que mejorar es el aire acondicionado, no enfriaba el cuarto, le tenían un abanico de techo. Se paso mucha calor.”

“Great location in Old San Juan with plenty to do. Owner was very helpful with accommodations, answering questions. Cold AC, warm and cold water. No issues at all. Would recommend to all, well priced.”
