Good: The staff is friendly and responsive when contacted. Nice pool and the property also looks good, but it's on the smaller side. Breakfast was expensive, but good,
Bad: The maintenance people don't clean properly, and washcloths weren't replaced a couple of times, but the worst part was when I dropped my earring under the bed. It's clear that it wasn't cleaned under there for several months. I kept sneezing and realized it was my dust allergies. Also, the floors in the showers were gross. In addition to not being cleaned properly (like my used Band-Aid on the bathroom floor for 2 days until I threw it out), the tiles were chipped and dirty. The bathroom floors definitely needed a refresh. Worst of all was that Room 126 didn't have hot water. After taking several cold showers over 4 days, we had to call maintenance every time we needed to take a hot shower. Starting your birthday off with a cold shower is not my idea of a good time. On the 5th day of our 8-day trip, I complained to the manager and was sent to a better room with working hot water. It is clear that they knew the room had problems. They should fix it or not assign anyone to it. Finally, the island had several blackouts and we were left with no electricity. So even when we changed rooms, we had no lights or hot water. Two outages lasted over 2 hours, but one day we didn't have electricity from about 10:15am to after 1am. Other resorts had generators, but not this one. Invest in the property!
