We are very sorry to disagree with this review,after careful control with a specialized company, there is no trace of bed bugs in the incriminated guest room.We are ready to prove that. The guest left the hotel and no charges for the room were applied.

Dear Mr Cunningham, We are so sorry to have to read your review. Atleast you appreciated the entrance and the grounds, but everything else you are writing is so bad. We can understand your point as regards your feeling towards the entire building, but it seems so strange you found – as you said – the food “not fresh”. Our Restaurant is one Michelin star, and I’m pretty sure the standards for food are high. I will of course double check with our staff what happened, but sounds strange to me the colleagues would spare on (in example) Croissants. As regards what you experienced in the gym, if you could have shared this information with the staff it would have been fixed immediately. I’m so sorry you actually didn’t. Of course we understand the reason of your departure was a bad feeling towards the entire Hotel, but unfortunately our staff could not do more than trying to solve it directly in-house, also offering you a complimentary free upgrade to our Presidential Suite Byblos. We are aware that our Hotel is not for everyone, and appreciate when Guests are honest and tell their feelings. Of course if you do not like a Hotel you better not stay, but an early departure not really related to any disservice or primary issue, in any case cannot be refund. We are really sad you felt to write all of those bad things just because we applied a – let us say it – totally fair penalty fee. Dear Aida, We are so sorry to read what you wrote about our Property. Art is subjective, and actually the Collection at Villa Amistà is one of the most important Collections of Modern and Contemporary Art in the World, so it feels strange to read words like “tacky” related to it. We are sorry you didn’t like it. Of course we understand it is not something for everyone. Furthermore, it is the first time someone is criticizing the dimension of our swimming pool, and we are a bit surprised. Our Pool is not huge, but it is meant to be a good place to relax by. It is of course not an Olympionic pool where to swim. We are also sorry you found your car wet upon departure. If you mentioned it to one of our staff we would have immediately helped you drying it, but no notice reached our Reception Desk.
