The room was clean, the bed comfortable and having a fridge was handy. It was nice grabbing a coffee and snack in the lobby and chatting with the lovely Katrina (I think her hame was) working there. I also liked all the outdoor furniture so I could enjoy a meal and visit with my family.

Very friendly staff and great location in Cambria. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and comfortable, and very quiet at night. I would stay again. The room could have had a better shower head, better water pressure and more storage in the bathroom.

We had a suite due to sleeping differences so really enjoyed the space along with two balconies facing dense woods! Very peaceful place, a little bit old school but in a great way and you will love your stay! Evening fire pit is nice! I’d call it a little bit vintage California Motor Lodge style, but you’ll find it’s all updated, nicely decorated with coastal art, well maintained and clean as a whistle!

We had a king fireplace room on the creek. The back patio had just a sliver of sky, but my husband and I really enjoyed looking at the stars. The air was so sweet smelling. We never heard another soul mid week. Very peaceful. Two very nice restaurants are about a block away in each direction. The Sows Ear and The Black Cat. We had the early bird dinner 5-6 at The Sows Ear. Very reasonable. Bread, salad, vegetables and rice or potatoes. Also, the Creekside is super close for breakfast. Lions is also wonderful. Coffee is provided all day after 8 am. We loved this old school hotel upgraded to perfection. Thank you.
