It’s close to everything you need — Walgreens, groceries, restaurants & it’s about 3 miles to downtown Taos. The best recommendation comes from its superb staff. Everyone we talked to was super friendly and accommodating. We wish them the best."

Loved the comfortable bed & pillows. Breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed the hot tub. Didn’t like the $35.additional fee. Truly unnecessary & possibly a dealbreaker for a future booking."

"This was my first time staying at LaFonda, and I’ve been visiting Taos since my childhood in the 1960’s, and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small but nicely appointed with comfortable beds and amenities. Baths well equipped and supplied. The lobby is a bit dingy and could use a refresh. Parking lot a bit rough, but convenient. I’d certainly consider it the next time I need to travel to Taos."
