This is the second time I have stayed here and I love it. I’m looking forward to coming back. It is such a cute little place. It looks like a little tiki hut, village. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have a beautiful pool and at night all through the property. It looks so cool because they have these tiki torches that come on at night. It’s just a beautiful peaceful place and I would encourage anyone to check it out. You will love it. It’s centrally located on the island so it’s easy to get to everything.

This place was truly a diamond in the rough! Such a beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed property. You can tell great attention was given to every detail, from the landscaping and grounds to the layout and design of the rooms. It’s also close to everything you may need, which made our stay even better. We will definitely stay here again every time we visit Sanibel!

We loved our stay! Our bed was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The pool and pool house were top notch! There’s even a full kitchen in the pool house with television! The staff were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

This is such a great, beautiful place to stay. The beds were comfortable. The fact that we had a functional kitchen with a refrigerator made a huge difference in ease of meals. The pool water was a perfect temperature. The wonderful front desk lady gave us complimentary bubbly wine when she found out we were on our honeymoon. The location is awesome to walk to things and also a close drive to anywhere on the two islands. The property’s landscaping was gorgeous! We will be back!

We love Kona Kai! This was our 3rd stay with them. Quiet and well maintained. Little kitchen area and updated room/ bathroom very nice. Nice, clean pool, love that it's deep! Air conditioning worked well and beds were comfortable. We felt like we were the only ones there. So relaxing!!!! Will definitely be back!

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the place was. The staff were friendly and the grounds were well taken care of. The pool was a nice addition. The room was spacious and very clean. The air conditioner was nice but took a little while to figure out the remote control. We have already said that we will be back.

This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at on vacation if you were ever on Sanibel Island this is the place to be. It’s very quiet. Everyone has their own little cottage thing and it’s decorated like a tiki hut village. It’s very cute. The air conditioner worked amazingly it was just a beautiful place to stay. It was very well priced and the staff was amazing.

This property has been restored and updated after hurricane damage. The whole property is cut as can be. We stayed in one of the suites. Lots of room and the kitchenette is fairly well stocked. There were two small things that would have made our stay even better: more towel hooks or bars in the bathroom and wine glasses in the kitchenette.

The Kona Kai is centrally located along Periwinkle Way and is close to dining, shopping and the beaches. The entire property, both inside and outside, were very clean and well maintained. Check in was simple and the staff were helpful with questions. Room rates were reasonable. This is our new "go to" place for lodging on Sanibel Island.
