“This is a newly built camping style place. The rooms are nice for the outdoor location. Working ceiling fans, sliding glass doors. I spent some time with one of the owners who has great English and is a great guy. It’s really a great location to make as a home camp to take safari jeeps from, which the site can easily order for you. They also can arrange walking trips through the wild park with a park ranger. Great group of people running this place!!”

“We stayed here because the description says 1 minute walk from Peryvar Reserve, it is not. 15 to 20 mins out of Kumily up a very bumpy track. No atmosphere at all. No yoga offered. Evening meal not good, I complained but ignored. Chef shouting in the kitchen. Pool green. Restaurant service not good at all. The best feature is the great taxi driver who works for the hotel. Although it was a VERY expensive service. Check the details before you book. ”

“Location was good with backdrop of the mountains, the room was very spacious with high arched ceilings. Offerings of breakfast buffet were good but not great. Local cuisine dishes( payasam(rice and vermicelli pudding), curry leaf marinated steamed fish, appam, vada and sambar) were really good. It’s real value for what you pay. Cons: Hot water was barely enough for one person, had to wait for 10-15 min before next person could take shower with hot water. ”

“The front desk staff was good, the breakfast was excellent and tasty. Two issued I had was there was another group that was playing loud music near us and it was bothering us as we were trying to put the kids to sleep. We also had a issues where the staff was suppose to deliver a case of water we brought and they delivered it to the wrong room. They replaced it with a case but just two small issues. Overall good experience and would stay again if going through the area. ”

I would like to mention Vijisha, Jibin, Anagha and Madhan who attended us and made our stay very enjoyable. They ensured everything was great and took care of every little detail. “Nous avons apprecie la gentillesse du personnel, la proprete de la chambre, le restaurant tres bon (meme si seule une petite partie de la carte etait disponible), l'architecture agreable de l hotel et la proximite du centre ville. 2 bemols cependant : les portes-fenetres de notre chambre (103) ne sont pas jointives donc nous entendions les bruits exterieurs et l'accueil ne dispose d'une caisse pour rendre la monnaie le cas echeant. “All good but there was a confusion about breakfast. Hotel staff told me that breakfast was not included but when I booked it clearly says breakfast included. Someone the hotel.com communication with Grand hotel did not mention about free breakfast. This caused confusion and time. When sending communication to the hotel please mention about breakfast is included. This will help the process. Please clarify why this confusion. ”
