Beautiful remote location with fabulous staff
Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The pasta and breakfast was incredible and the views were breathtaking. A few minor maintenance issues (small hole in the ceiling and railings in need of a paint) but overall, a beautiful hotel. Note of caution - car is needed to make the most of this remote location and the pool is ornamental only and NOT for swimming. Check if the restaurant is open too as we arrived to find no restaurant for 2 days. Was gifted some of their home grown lemons on checkout, a lovely thought

hôtel et chambre un peu kitsch dans le pur style napolitain...mais une vue imprenable sur le vésuve et sur la mer. le jardin est très sympa et reposant, le personnel attentionné, le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Seul bémol : attention aux réservations le week end car il y a bcp de mariages et baptêmes qui peuvent s'y tenir donc foule possible.

Fantastic dont miss it.
Absolutely fantastic. Such a warm welcome despite our lack of italian we conversed well and were made to feel at home in a very elegant hotel. Food was superb the staff were excellent and the view from the pool terrace and restaurant was breathtaking. I couldnt recommend this high enough.

Vue exceptionnelle sur le Vésuve
Hôtel offrant une vue exceptionnelle sur le golfe de Naples et le Vésuve. Restauration de très bon qualité et dîner avec vue sur le Vésuve inoubliable. Un seul regret, beaucoup de fêtes (communions, anniversaire...) le week-end ne permettent pas un accès libre à la piscine et génèrent du bruit.

Small intimate hotel with amazing Vesuvius views
Amazing views to Vesuvius! Small and intimate hotel which is also used for local parties (birthdays etc.) The breakfast was unbelievable and we were unfortunate that the restaurant was closed on the night we spent there. I am very convinced that food is excellent. Finding the place was not easy and requires driving on very narrow and steep roads. And it is bit out of town so one needs a car.

Cela fait 2 fois que je séjourne dans cet agritourisme et l’accueil est très chaleureux. Tout est fait pour que vous soyez bien. Le lieu est splendide. Les chambre sont confortables. La nourriture est de qualité. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent! La vue incroyable ! Nous y retournerons sûrement!

Villa Palmentiello
Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans cet établissement. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable,propre et bien équipée (climatisation et frigo). L'hôtel est situé dans un grand parc arboré et bénéficie d'une terrasse avec piscine avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie et le Vésuve. Le personnel est agréable et le petit déjeuner bon et copieux. C'est un lieu calme et sécurisé :idéal pour un séjour en famille dans la région.

Great family vacation!
Great place to stay with the family. The view was amazing, the pool was refreshing, and the food was phenomenal. The workers were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return!

Bel hôtel, bel accueil, bel environnement!
Bel endroit mais la route pour s'y rendre est dangereuse! L'air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas le 1er soir mais ils ont réglé ça pour le 2e soir. Le repas qui est offert en menu dégustation est très volumineux mais une belle expérience! Il faut avoir un très bon appétit! Aussi, pour le déjeuner, ils offrent beaucoup de plats! Le personnel est amical et serviable. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour!

Excellent facility and service.
I can't say enough about our stay here. The room was beautiful, the view from our looking out over Pompeii and Mnt Vesuvius was breathtakingly stunning. The farm fresh meals couldn't be better and very reasonably priced.

En general hemos estado bien. Muy destacables las comidas, el entorno y las vistas. Las mayores deficiencias son que no posee ascensor, en el restaurante muy a menudo hacen celebraciones y es incómodo por su ubicación si tu objetivo es hacer visitas turísticas a diario.

Not for the weekend.... Mid week stays only
We were there on a Sunday (to Monday). Unbeknown to us, this meant the arrival of masses of guests to a 60th and a Holy Communion celebration. For a 9 room farm-based hotel on top of the hills, it was completely unexpected. The pool closed at 12 noon for residents and we were basically in the way of the event which was the focus of the staff. I would recommend this hotel, but NOT at weekends - apparently this eventing stuff is every Sat and Sun.

We got much more than we expected
I had no expectations for the hotel when we booked it for our trip. We just needed a place to sleep when not exploring. But we were very surprised how warm and friendly the staff was. They were very accommodating and helpful. The view was spectacular and the food was amazing and it kept us from trying to find places in town. the only complaint I have is that it is very hard to find. Once you find it though it is worth it. We will be coming back here for sure. Make sure you map it out the best you can before your trip....look at google maps and try to identify structured and landmarks....your gps will get you reasonably close but will not take you all the way.

UN BEL ETABLISSEMENT
Très bien accueillis par une hôtesse compétente, empressée, comprenant le français et parlant l'anglais, nos avons trouvé des chambres fonctionnelles donnant sur le Vesuve. la tres grande dimension des espaces de restauration nous a fait craindre des nuisances liées au bruit, mais il semble que la direction gère très bien le problème car nous n'avons subi aucune gêne. L'accès à l'etablissement, très bien fléché depuis le centre ville est cependant très délicat (routes très étroites et circulation intense) et en soirée l'accès à un parking réservé à la clientèle de l'hôtel fait defaut malgré la présence d'un voiturier. Le restaurant propose une carte restreinte mais à base de produits de l'agriturismo et le chef, généreux pour les cadeaux en entrées et desserts, se montre très ouvert aux suggestions des clients. Le petit déjeuner servi sur table est très complet et abondant.

Das Agriturismo hat unseren Erwartungen in keinster Weise entsprochen. Das Haus ist lieblos eingerichtet und sanierungsbedürftig. Der 'Speisesaal', wo das Frühstück serviert wurde, bestand aus einem kalten, unpersönlichen Raum, in dem ein paar Plastiktische und - stühle hingestellt wurden. Es gab trotz wunderbarem Wetter keine Möglichkeit, im Freien zu frühstücken. Die Tische auf der Terrasse wurden am Morgen für den allabendlichen Event, in unserem Fall am ersten Tag eine Geburtstagsfeier und am zweiten Tag eine Taufe, mit weissen Stofftischtüchern und -Servietten gedeckt. An Schlaf war bis lange nach Mitternacht wegen des Partylärms nicht zu denken. Zum Frühstück gab es weisse Toastbrotscheiben aus dem Plastikbeutel. Kein selbergemachtes Brot, keinen eigenen Käse, keinen eigenen Schinken und keine eigene Marmelade, wie es in der Hotelwerbung beschrieben war. Schon gar nicht das dort angekündigte Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal haben wir äusserst unfreundlich und desinteressiert erlebt. Hotelgäste werden unseres Erachtens nur geduldet. Der Garten wirkt ungepflegt und ist zum grössten Teil mit billigem, altem Rasenteppich belegt. Das einzige Highlight dieses Hauses ist die Aussicht über die Ebene, das Meer und den Vesuv.

A beautiful villa with a beautiful view
During our 8 day trip to Italy staying here was one of our highlights. The setting was spectacular with a backdrop of Mt Vesuvius and Pompei and the room itself was lovely, including a bathtub with jets! We ate at the restaurant and the service was amazing, I am vegetarian and so is my partner and we were really surprised with how well looked after we were, especially by a lovely lady called Francesca. We had read some reviews that it can be noisy in the evenings but we found this not to be true, as we left to our room a party arrived yet we heard nothing from them all night. Do not be put off by other reviews stating otherwise.

Erklärung zur Bewertung "allgemeiner Zustand" nur mit 3: Wir hatten leider das Pech, dass bei 9 Übernachtungen an 8 Abenden teilweise laute Familienfeste aller Art gefeiert wurden. Das Restaurant wurde dafür schon ab dem Vormittag geschmückt. So war es nicht möglich, auf der Veranda in Ruhe die Aussicht zu genießen oder ein Buch zu lesen, die Benutzung des Pools war mehr als eingeschränkt. Irgendwie haben wir uns als Störfaktoren gefühlt. Wie haben versucht, daraus das Beste zu machen, das Personal war außerdem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, was oben genannte Einschränkungen teilweise wieder wettgemacht haben. Ohne die oben beschriebenen Erfahrungen hätten wir diesen Punkt mit einer 4 gewertet.

景色の良いホテル
とても景色の良いホテルでした。夜遅くに付きましたが、スタッフの方が食事の心配をしてくれて用意してくれました。イタリア旅行で一番思い出に残る宿でした。また泊まりたいです。レンタカーで向かいましたが１km以上、車が一台通れるか判らない道を登ったりして走ります。夜中に走りましたが苦労しました（マニュアル車で途中に対向車に会った為）

Great place difficult to locate even with sat nav
After haphazard check in due to numerous functions the hotel staff were very friendly and accomadating. The meals we had in the evening were excellent and good value for money. Be aware that if you are staying over a weekend that the hotel/restaurant get busy with wedding and birthday type functions.

Hyggeligt lille hotel. Meget populær restaurant med super lækker mad - et must hvis man overnatter her. Fantastisk udsigt. Eneste minus - MEGET lille pool som ligger lige ved restaurant, og derfor ikke meget plads til badning pga alle gæsterne i restauranten. Lækker morgenmad og gode værelser med AC. Ikke nemt at komme til/fra hotel pga små stejle veje.

Six nuit (sur sept) sans pouvoir dormir !
Quel contraste entre notre premier séjour, en mai 2010, et celui que nous venons d'y passer. Alors que nous pensions nous reposer dans cet endroit magnifique, c'est au contraire l'enfer que nous avons rencontré. En favorisant les (nombreux) habitués du restaurant, les propriétaires ont aussi ouvert leur établissement aux fêtes de famille et aux soirées dansantes, rendant plus que difficile le séjour des clients de l'hôtel. Six nuits sur sept sans pouvoir dormir et des responsables qui se moquent de vos doléances. Insupportable ! Nous retrouvant exclus des parties supposées communes, piscine et terrasse comprises, fatigués comme jamais, il n'y aura pas de troisième fois pour nous, d'autant que l'accès routier s'est terriblement dégradé en trois ans.

Villa Palamentiello er et vakkert sted, fine, store rom, god mat og bra service. Det har storslagen utsikt over Napolibukten og Vesuv. Dette har imidlertid tusenvis av italienere som bor i Napoliområdet også oppdaget. Det var hundrevis av restaurantgjester hver kveld, bryllup, konfirmasjoner, familiejubileer med høy musikk til langt på natt. Dette var noe overraskende for en norsk familie som ønsket fred og ro på en italiensk agriturissimo. I tillegg var bassengområdet en populær bursdagsarena. 30 løpende, sprutende, høylytte og lekende italienske barn uten voksne som dempet dem, gjorde det umulig å kose seg på bassengkanten. I tillegg var bassenget stengt lørdag og søndag og da måtte finne på annet å gjøre. Det var mange dyr på gården, men dyrevelferden var en trist affære. Kyr, sauer og griser i spiltau som har det altfor trangt. Kalver som er bundet slik at de ikke kan die mora si. Vi observerte at både hunder og andre dyr ble utsatt for "plaging" av italienske unger. Dette var et hotell som holdt det det lovet, hadde utmerket serice, men vi var allikevel skuffet og slitne pga manglende ro og ingen mulighet for spaserturer i omgivelsene.

Good Choice, but not quiet !
Stayed 2 nights, nice hotel with fantastic views, very helpfull staff and a good restaurant. However, breakfast was very basic and appeared to be an inconvienience for the staff. The only real inconvienience to us were the number of private parties/functions taking place at the hotel, in our short stay, there were 2 childrens parties (which tend to take over the pool area all afternoon), one confirmation party, and 5 separate evening parties, with music and singing continuing until the small hours. This is obviously a very popular venue with the local people, and a hotel that is well positioned if you intend visiting Pompei or Vesuvius, but it may not be the quiet santuary one might expect from it's fairly remote location.

einfach ein Traum
Die Villa Palmentiello, liegt sehr verborgen im kleinen Ort St. antonio Abate, man hat eine etwas längere Anfahrt, aber es ist sehr gut ausgeschildert. Die Menschen dort sind freundlich, nicht künstlich freundlich einfach herzlich. Es ist schöner als man es auf den Fotos überhaupt wahrnehmen kann. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, nichts war umständlich für das Personal. Es ist familienfreundlich und romantisch, lebendig ung leichzeitig vermittelt es Ruhe und Frieden. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts konnte ich nicht glauben, dass es tatsächlich so günstig war. Das Essen ist extrem lecker und viel. Ich weiß nicht was ich noch schreiben soll. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten waren gut zu erreichen, wenn man denn überhaupt aus dem Hotel wegwollte. Erlebt es selbst, es gibt rein gar nichts zu bemmängeln!
