โWe had a lovely stay at Caloura Hotel Resort.
The location is quiet, remote, and beautifulโperched on the cliffs with peaceful sea views and lush gardens. It was especially nice to be able to walk down to the ocean through the grounds.
The hotel feels very calm and relaxing, but you definitely need a car to get around.

โThe property is exactly what it is called. Charming. The staff is very nice. The breakfast had everything you need. Be prepared to walk up and down the stairs as there is no elevator. The only issue we had with our room (#10) is that sink in the bathroom was super tiny and could not put any toiletries in the bathroom. Rooms also do not come equipped with a fridge. Otherwise it was a beautiful property. โ

โWe stayed here for 6 days from Aug 03 - 09 2025. We love staying here. The hotel is clean, quiet, with plenty of parking and the staff is AWESOME! They are always friendly and courteous. Nuno, Maria, Petra and Julia always greeted us with a smile and they helped us a lot. If Fatima is reading this have her give all you guys a huge raise !!
One small suggestion - can your hotel upgrade the televisions in the rooms to be Smart TV's? It would be nice to watch movies and shows on the Internet....
โStaff was very helpful and spoke great English. Breakfast had a lot of options and was delicious. Location was a little awkward to get to and awkward to get out of but thatโs also what Ponta Delgada is like. bed was very comfortable. Washroom was clean.โ
